Gather & Events

Your party’s
over here.

Red Fox Inn has been the best place in town to host events since the 1950s. We’re continuing the tradition.

Our Spaces

One building. Five rooms. No rain plan required.

It’s like discovering a unicorn. We’re on both Routes 2 & 3 in the center of Lancaster. Our building has two wings of rooms connected by the motel lobby. Once inside the lobby, you do not have to go outside to get to the event spaces.

The Siwooganock Room — intimate gathering space at Red Fox Inn

01

The Siwooganock Room

Intimate gatherings · 15–20 guests

Named for the Abenaki word for the Israel River that flows through downtown Lancaster — Siwooganock, “place of the burnt pine trees.” Our most intimate gathering space, perfect for rehearsal dinners, small meetings, private tastings, and conversations that matter. Every guest who asks about the name learns something about the land this inn sits on.

The Prospect Room at Red Fox Inn — mid-size event space upstairs

04

The Prospect Room

Mid-size events · up to 50 guests

Named for Mt. Prospect — the mountain five minutes from the inn with a 56-foot fire tower and 360-degree views of the White Mountains. Located upstairs with views of Lancaster’s famous church steeples. Ideal for meetings, retirement celebrations, wedding rehearsal dinners, graduation parties, and educational seminars. The name carries a double meaning: elevated views, elevated possibilities.

The Huntington Room at Red Fox Inn — the largest event space, named for Anna Hyatt Huntington

05

The Huntington Room

Grand events · 125+ guests

Named for Anna Vaughn Hyatt Huntington, the sculptor who cast Lancaster’s iconic bronze fox in 1913. Her Joan of Arc stands in Manhattan’s Riverside Park. Her fox stands three blocks from our front door. This is our largest and most prestigious space — for weddings, receptions, anniversaries, conferences, and holiday parties that deserve a room with a story.
